If you have trouble building roads that look real, a good start if you don't have or cannot afford World Machine, is to use tools like the describe on the 'something about roads' thread post on 's website forums (it's a not steam link, but should be safe-for-work). That is all, look forware to seeing your map! If you are a beginner looking for a tutorial on starting your own map, look at the Map. Again, it must be equal length and width. Valid sizes are anything from 128 (tiny, not even a city block), and just keep 'doubling' the number (any power of 2 number) up to 4096, and the terrain must be square.ġ28, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096 unit squares are all valid numbers. In the future we may/might see tiled terrain support, but for now, when exporting it, don't select tiling (it by default uses 512 unit tiles), just do one large chunk for now as Beamng.drive supports only one terrain with collision (without it, you'll fall through it like it was air).
